This antique hardcover book has original gray paper dust jacket, with black spine lettering and black-and-white cover decorations and illustration. Jacket is edgeworn, soiled, rubbed, faded, and chipped- fair condition. Book is bound in maroon cloth boards; edgewear and soil to boards, foxing and tanned pages. Top page edge is bright gilt. Inner pages are tanned, but most are clean and unmarked. With essays by Joseph Addison, Lord Bacon and Sir William Temple, this book offers tips for mental, physical and spiritual health to prolong one's life. 214 pages; approx. 6"x8".
