The Un-Americans

Bessie was an American novelist, journalist and screenwriter who was imprisoned for ten months and blacklisted by the movie studio bosses for being one of the group known as the Hollywood Ten. His career came to a halt in 1947, when he was summoned before the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC). This work is a novelization of his experiences with the HUAC. Book is in very good condition with light wear, a touch of soil; jacket is in good condition with rubbing, wear and soil-now in mylar.  6 x 8 inches with 383 pages.
