Appearing immediately before his celebrated "trilogy" of Molloy, Malone Dies and The Unnamable, Mercier and Camier was Beckett's first attempt at extended prose fiction in French. Remainder mark on bottom page end, but otherwise pages are clean. Light fading to edges. Dust jacket is a little rubbed. 5.5"x8" with 123 pages. First American Edition.
