The Birds' Christmas Carol

First printing of this "Memorial Edition" of Wiggin's Christmas classic. First published in 1886, Wiggin produced it to help fund the Silver Street Free Kindergarten, which she founded in 1878. It is the story of Carol Bird, a girl who brings joy and happiness to everyone she encounters, including the poor Ruggles family. Owner's label and ink date on title page, some wear to edges. Covers show some soil. 7.5"x9.5" with 84 pages. Illustrated.
