Whip and Spur
This antique hardcover book is bound in cobalt blue cloth boards with gilt lettering on the front and spine. Spine slightly faded, with some soil and edgewear; corners slightly bumped; inner pages lightly browned, but clean and unmarked. Some signature slightly loose. 245 pages; approx. 4"x6". Waring was a Colonel in the 4th Missouri Cavalry as well a an engineer who is credited with designing the modern sewage systems of New York City; this book details his adventures on fox hunt with his horse.
