This set of five books by Alice Tisdale Hobart is bound in matching red boards with decorative black and gilt spine lettering and decorations. Includes: River Supreme; Oil for the Lamps of China; The Cup and the Sword; The Peacock Sheds his Tail; and Their Own Country. All are circa the 1930s. One volume (River Supreme) is bound upside down. Each is approx. 300 pages, 5"x8". Books are in good condition with some foxing and soil to edge, cover wear and soil, and some light browning to pages.
