The American Gentleman

Interesting early book on etiquette written for the "American Gentleman." Two illustrations before title page, one of a wedding scene at the entrance to a church, the other of George Washington. Small format - 3.5"x5.5" hard cover book, tan cover with gilt lettering on the front and spine of the cover.  Poor condition. Heavy soil on all covers, very large stain on rear endpaper that bleeds through to last 25 pages. No loose pages. Foxing throughout. 288 pages.
