Sally Ann's Experience

This novel has an off-white hard cover with gilt lettering and border and a lovely full-color illustration.  Cover soil; edgewear; general wear and soil.  Inner pages have green decorative borders.  As the introduction explains, this story's purpose is to illustrate the "iniquity" of the old property laws of Kentucky (and beyond) that allowed a widow to only one-third of her husband's property upon his death. 45 pages, plus advertisements; approx. 5"x7".
