Harvest

This vintage color print was recovered from a disbound edition of "A Golden Treasury of Songs and Lyrics" edited by Francis Turner Palgrave. It was published in 1934 by Dodd and Mead and measures 7 x 9 inches. Parrish was an American painter and illustrator active in the first half of the 20th century. He is known for his distinctive saturated hues and idealized neo-classical imagery. His career spanned fifty years and was wildly successful: his painting Daybreak is the most popular art print of the 20th century.

This print, known as "Harvest," shows some soil and discoloration / staining, rough edge where it was bound into the book.
