The African Servant

This antique pamphlet has a yellow paper cover with black lettering and illustration, bound with staples. Cover has some soil/spotting; inner pages have light foxing. Spine shows wear and some fraying. Stain present to middle of text. This is Tract No. 53, according to front cover; no date of publication, but titled page reads as PUBLISHED BY THE/ AMERICAN TRACT SOCIETY,/ 150 NASSAU-STREET, NEW YORK in the "new typeface," dating it after 1847. Also lists D. Fanshaw as printer, which puts it before his death in 1860. 16 pages; approx. 4"x6".
