William Caxton and His Critics

Caxton was an English merchant, diplomat, writer and printer. He is thought to be the first person to introduce a printing press into England, in 1476, and was the first English retailer of printed books. This first edition has a clear plastic DJ to protect the cover from dust or wear. Book is clean, tight and unmarked. Includes a facsimile reproduction of a Caxton manuscript. Just a touch a wear and soil. Jacket shows some rubbing. 30 pages; approx. 4"x7".
