Tales of trout fishing, deer hunting, and wing shooting, includes chapters on the Nepigon and Saguenay rivers. Inscribed "Compliments of the Author" on front endpaper. Decorative green cloth cover with gilt lettering on the front and spine. Preface mentions that some of these sketches had previously appeared in Forest and Stream under author's pseudonym of Mark West. No title page, the rear end paper has been removed, former owner's name present, faded spine, some light wear and soil. 5"x7.5" with 227 pages.
