Goudy: Master of Letters

This book is bound in brown cloth boards, with gilt lettering on the front and spine. Cover has a circular seal with a portrait of Goudy in gilt. Spine a bit faded; light foxing; a few pages uncut. Overall a clean, tight copy, with most inner pages clean and bright. Black-and-white illustrations accompany this biography of American printer, artist and typeface designer Frederic W. Goudy (including an introduction by Goudy himself). This is a limited edition, one of 400 copies produced by The Black Cat Press. And the typeface, of course, is one designed by Goudy. 101 pages; approx. 6"x9".
