This antique hardcover book is bound in brown cloth boards with bright gilt spine lettering. Very slight edgewear, but covers are clean overall. Front endpaper is inscribed by the author, as follows: "For Mr. Charles G. Kimball, with the sincere regards of John H. Edwards," bearing the author's signature. The privately printed volume contains the author's essays on such diverse topics of Christopher Columbus, evolution, the Huguenots, music, religion and more, as well as selected verses. 118 pages; approx. 5"x8".
