The New Wonder World


This multivolume set of children's reference books are bound in matching decorated bindings of blue, maroon, and black. Each has gilt spine lettering and a color paste-down cover illustration. All have some light edgewear, cover soil; inner pages are clean overall. Volume V shows some light damage to front endpapers. Titles are as follows: "The World and Its Peoples," "Invention and Industry," "The Nature Book," "Adventure and Achievement," "Story and Art," "Sports, Pastimes and Handicrafts," "The History Book," "The Literature Book," "The Child in the Home," "The Wonder of Life" and "Guide and Index." Each is illustrated throughout with plates, photos, diagrams, drawings and more. Each is approx. 400 pages, 7"x10".
