Includes an introduction by Joseph Freeman. The anthology collects short fiction, criticism, drama, reporting and poetry from some of the leading left-wing authors of the early 20th century, including Dos Passos, Erskine Caldwell, Langston Hughes, Kenneth Patchen, Richard Wright and Granville Hicks, who also helped edit the compilation. 384 pages; approx. 6"x8".
