This autobiography is bound in blue cloth boards, with gilt lettering on the front and spine. Spine is browned; some edgewear; overall a clean, tight copy. Autographed by the author on the front endpaper. Frontispiece is a photo portrait of the author's son. Tchernavin, the wife of Vladimir Tchernavin, writes about her family's experience fleeing Soviet rule following Vladimir's imprisonment in a Soviet gulag. The family escaped to Finland and Vladimir became famous as an ex-gulag prisoner. 320 pages; approx. 5"x8". 11th Printing.
