This antique hardcover book is bound in black cloth boards with bright color cover illustration of two burning candles on golden candlesticks. Spine and cover lettering is white. Spine lettering slightly worn; front endpaper creased, with owner's name; otherwise a clean, tight copy. The book contains short "sketches" written by Ade for the Chicago Herald-Record describing life in the city. 358 pages, plus advertisements; approx. 6"x8".
