This antique hardcover book is bound in tan boards, with a decorative bookplate on the front cover. Bookplate has black and orange lettering and shows a whimsical illustration of cats in an Art Nouveau style. No spine letters. Some spine wear, chipping; inner pages clean, binding tight. Inscribed by Euwer, who wrote and illustrated this book, on the front endpaper. Includes an introduction by Wallace Irwin. The book combines verse and prose, interspersed with whimsical and artful illustrations, musing on the manners of cats and humans. Approx. 40 pages (not numbered), 6"x9".
