This antique hardcover book is bound in purple cloth boards with bright gilt lettering on the spine. Spine is faded to brown; library or school label at lower end of spine; some other cover wear/soil, bookplate inside front cover, writing on front endpaper. Foxing within, but most inner pages clean. Scarce title. The author writes of his boyhood in Rensselaer County, N.Y., near Albany, and his work within the Baptist Church.
