Binding is firm and tight, bumped corners, edge and cover soil, foxing to the foredge. Rear cover shows some additional wear. This book has a red cover with black lettering, black lettering on spine, 310 pages, owners name on inside page. First line: "A young man stood on the hearthrug in the dining-room of a London flat, moving restlessly from one leg to the other and occasionally varying this movement by kicking at an imaginary patch on the carpet."
