This antique hardcover collector's autobiography has a light blue-gray cloth cover with white illustration and lettering.  Cover and foredge soil; inner pages with some light intermittent foxing, tanned pages, wear, and soil.  The Rev. J. Shores recalls his lifelong enthusiasm for model steam engines, giving tips to other collectors on the purchase and maintenance of these items.  Frontispiece has a photo portrait of Rev. Shores, and there is a 66-page inset at the rear of the book of black-and-white photo plates of many of his steam engines and locomotives.  56 pages, plus plates; approx. 5"x7".
