"A Tour of the World in Eighty Days" by Jules Verne. First American edition, published by James R. Osgood, 1873. The more common green cover (rather than blue) of the first edition. Has all the first state price points - tinted red edges, frontispiece of "Le Saint Michele," copyright date in red ink on title page, no mention of translator.
Some cover wear, spine a bit darkened, but gilt is still fairly bright. Binding is cocked, which is you can see in last photo. Binding is holding tight. Pages browning very slightly at edges, a bit of foxing in the first 10-15 pages, otherwise textblock is clean. Overall condition is "good."
