"The Lord of the Rings: Collector's Edition" by J.R.R. Tolkien. Published by Houghton Mifflin, 1966 copyright. Large, thick volume in matching slipcase. Covers are very clean and crisp, slipcase shows only slight wear. Large pull-out map in rear of book. Awesome shelf look.
The bad news: there is some moisture damage (wavy pages) that effects the first 400 pages or so (about 1/3 of the entire text). There is a faint outline along the bottom and outer edge of the pages, the first 100 pages or so being quite wavy. That said, the pages seem to have been dried properly; there is no sign of mold or mustiness, and none of the pages have stuck together or have been otherwise damaged.
